I don’t know if I have seen as beautiful a scene from a hammock than this. This was taken in Stanley Idaho looking out at a storm rolling in across the Sawtooth mountain range.
This picture was taken using a hand held Pentax K200 D. Aperture: F/6.7; Shutter: 1/250; ISO: 100
I used a red and partial Green Filter to enhance the detail within the sky. I also found that i had to straighten the photo, so the mountains in the background appeared level within the picture. Originally the shot was level with the foreground, which was causing the picture to look off balance.
Thanks, I am glad you like it. If you ever make it to Idaho, make sure to take the extra drive to Stanley…. No matter how many times I see the Sawtooth Mountains, they never cease to blow me away…
