I developed a love for photography about 10 years ago. I love how photography made me notice the world around me.
It is amazing what we pass by on a daily basis without notice. Once I started seeing the world through a viewfinder I was amazed how the most mundane object or scene, could be fascinating and beautiful… This is what I love about photography… Finding those things, that maybe I’ve lived by for years, but never appreciating until I saw it from the perspective of a lense.
I remember watching a movie some years back, where the antagonist is breaking into a museum in New York by scaling the side of building in broad daylight, when his partner asked why he wasn’t concerned about getting caught, he commented, “No one looks up”... Photography makes me look up.
