Serendipity
A few weeks ago, whilst clients were thin on the ground and I was looking for new ones, I located a new contact here called Roy Barry. Whilst perusing his pages of really great photographs, I wandered to his blog and had a read.
On there was a link to the Brooklyn Art Project link which I thought looked pretty interesting.
I clicked on it.
It looked so good that I joined and then it invited me to import my address book and invite a few friends… so I did.
Except the application crashed whilst I was doing that and I basically spammed everyone in my entire address book that I had ever contacted in the past three years with an invite to the Brooklyn Art Project.
Sorry!
But then that afternoon I got another email from someone I hadn’t heard from in ages saying that the invite had reminded her about my work and she might have something for me.
Over a chat on the phone it turns out to be an amazing opportunity to do something really amazing… both artistic and paid, that takes my work in a direction that I could have only dreamed of and which opens amazing new doors for me.
When I chatted with Roy later on, turns out he was a little blue… until I told him this.
So go check out his work here:
and thank you Roy… and thank you Serendipity.

WOW! Annabel-it was a pleasure to find that a “little” conversation between us, could have been the very beginning of (potentially), something hugely productive for you. I am so very pleased for you and would love to see you up there, where you belong.
Roy.

All because of you Roy.
And the Universe.
Cheers.

That’s wonderful, isn’t it lovely how things have a way of working themselves out in the most surprising way.
Annabel Hollin... replied
Thanks Adriana. Yes it’s true… but I think it only works when you’re ready to receive it. Until then… nada! :-)
