The Wartburg 353, known in some export markets as the Wartburg Knight, is a medium-sized family car, produced by East German car producer Wartburg. This car was produced from 1965 to 1988, becoming the longest-produced Wartburg model ever. The Wartburg 353 was the creation of the former German BMW production facilities (called EMW under Soviet occupation). As an export it was popular in the United Kingdom (UK) in the 1960s.
This was my parents’ Wartburg. At the end of its lifetime it was given to me as a canvas to paint. What you see here is the result. My older brother drove this car because I was too young to drive it myself at that time. It became famous in Weimar, Germany after being featured in our local newspaper:)
What a treasure Anna. You made you brother famous :):) And you began at such an early age. But then, when you have this kind of talent I’m sure it affects you from birth.
That is great.. I just was curious because the paint looked really smooth!! Years ago I’ve also had the opportunity to paint on a car and it was a great experience! Did it outside and in public so it felt illegal but thrilling! Got allot of people’s attention but never made it in the papers like yours! :)))

Wow.. . Great story and art! How old where you when you painted this and what type of paint did you use? Cheers! ~Kenny :)
Thank you Kenny! I was 15 years old … and used some kind of automotive paint (do not remember exactly what brand).
