Golden Lion

Thankyou.

This poem was inspired by the wonderful songs of Robert Plant and this
is dedicated to him .

Golden Lion belongs to the following groups:

West Midlands UK and WMG

A golden lion once crossed my path,
With hypnotic eyes – he held my stare.
He moved so gracefully with natures songs:
So powerfully he held those notes between his jaws.
He travelled far this gifted beast;
His beauty dazzled a sad but lonely world,
Amongst the tree spirits he found peace~
A place to sleep.

Aradia watched lovingly as her golden lion, he slept,
Unaware of an invading world…
Who demanded relentlessly to hear her lion sing -
As he roared…The world, it shook!
With a song they could never forget!
Hypnotic – they stood held in his stare,
Surely this lion was their King?

Aradia watched lovingly, so powerfully, he held those notes
Yet so sadly she heard him sing.
Oh, to be able to walk down to the sea,
To stand, to stare, in peace…
So she led him away by his golden mane,
This strong and graceful king.
To where no human eyes could see him,
Or capture her gifted beast.
Where the valleys became his kingdom,
Aradia now his Queen!
Where the shadows of another world
Stand taller than the trees,
And the only time they ever bend, is to listen…
While their lion sings.

Thank you very much. I am a reiki master and healer and am most impressed by your amazing angel images. I will be looking to purchase some for my Treatment room in the near future…am in process of moving home at present. I must say I thought your lion image would go very well with my poem! Kind regards Anjula
