Enaguas Floreciendo/Blooming Petticoats by

I was on the island of Janitzio, just outside Patzcuaro, Michoacan. This is a part of Mexico where the indigenous Purepecha (Tarasco) women wear colorful, multi-layered petticoats. I happened to look up, and noticed a clothes line, running between two second story windows, with petticoats drying on it. The wind kept blowing and blowing and I kept snapping and snapping. When I got home I put some of the best shots together in one frame (thanks to Photoshop). Voila!
