Inspired by the fabulous Dreddart (My model for the design, permission given)
She is a Superhero with an invisible cloak of Dredlocks and a Magic Ink Gun which transports people through time when they get a tattoo. Not only does she fight crime in the sleazy underbelly of the city, she often goes back in time to tackle unsolved murders.
Rubbish tattoos are her pet peeve and her general wind down time is spent serving justice on unwitting tattoo artists who peddle a mediocre trade (dont mention Unicorns, it sends her a bit loco).
Catchphrase: I’m not related to Judge Dredd !!
Nemisis: Poison Pen Polly (her speciality is death by ink)
Sidekick: Churchill the Cat
Anita Inverarity is a fine art illustrator residing in North East Scotland. Her intricate linework is influenced by the classic victorian illustrators, pop surrealism and underground culture giving it an up to date modern twist.
