Love this so much anita! The details are so so awesome. Especially love her stockings and all the roses

  • Thank you so much hon- I’m trying to stock up on my smaller unframed works for my summer shows. I kinda like it, because the dont take long and you can go with whatever pops up. I have a few big ones to get done too- but I’m more in the mood for this just now :)) xxx

Another gem Anita. I think this rhyme originates from the Great Plague of London in the 1600’s when the first sign a person had the plague was sneezing. The posies were small bunches of sweet smelling medicinal herbs which were laid around the sick person. The ring of roses referred to the red marks that appeared on the person’s neck…and of course most of the sick DID fall down ( never to get up again poor things). Sorry about the history lesson but it is interesting. Love the stockings :) ~ Anni xxx

  • Thank you Anni- Appreciated and yes its such a grim story in every way !! We used to sing it so innocently as children not knowing :)) xx
