Original Ink Artwork by Anita Inverarity

This is a Style Stealer Topic for the 1000 Girls Project that I took part in during 2009.
I’m not uploading all the Style Stealers to my Gallery, as I think they’ll look out of place. This one I enjoyed and kinda like, for all its scribbleness- She feels very intuitive and expressed how I was feeling at the time- coming to terms with a disability.

Inspired by the work A Widow by Jean DuBuffet
with maybe a hint of Tim Burton

My 76th upload for the 1000 Girls in 100 Days Project (11th Jan 2010- Style Stealers- Jean DuBuffet)

Hey, love it!!! The scribbliness of it is marvellous, nice to see a different side to your work….its fun working in someone elses style isn’t it?? (Although can be enormously challenging!)

  • Thank youuuuuuuu :)) I found the 5 style stealers so challenging. This one I found quite emotive and had fun loosening up- I’m so happy you like it. Did not know how it would go over xx
