I loved the grunge “movement” centred around Sub Pop records in Seattle. It hit our shores in the UK when I was in my early 20’s and gave rock a good kick up the bum. 20 years on and I had the pleasure of seeing Mudhoney again at a small intimate venue in my hometown Aberdeen (the Scottish City not the US one) and they still had the same energy and urgency.
So this little character is missing Grunge and people lost along the way, but not forgetting them & the music.

I found a little pine frame to fit “Shady” and decided to colour the piece using Letraset Ink Brushes in warm tones and added a little Burgundy Matt. EDIT: The Frame has now been sanded & sprayed black :)
