I worked very differently on thislittle piece- working out and then completing the inkings in small sections- so it kind of evolved from the bottom up and nothing was worked out in advance. It was fun because I had no idea how it would end up really. Influenced by Victorian Dress, Lace, Jet, Ribbons, Bast, the Victorian obsesson with all things Egyptian, Pea-hens, Hearts & Mournful Valentines, Fans and the mystery of the Masquerade.
