As you mentioned, this is inspired by Lewis Carroll’s own drawing, but when I look at yours and his together it becomes obvious that you have made this your own … well done. I love to see adaptations like this, as opposed to direct copies.
It was influenced by the writing only- the drawing is indeed my version. Thank you so much xxxxxx

Starting when I was about 8 until I was well into my 20’s I read Alice (both books) every Christmas Day. A fine tradition…….maybe I’ll start it again. I think you’ve inspired me!
I hope you do more.
Wonderful- such a good read.
I’m glad I’ve inspired you and your kind words have encouraged me to do some more Alice soon xx

it’s a little comical, i love it…think it’s gonna be very popular Anita xx

Although it is obvious you haven’t actually copied his work, Lewis Carroll imagined it quite similar to your version, back in 1887.
Oh wow yes- I have see similiar compositions to this indeed (almost every book and film) which have undoubted inspired my thought on how it should look.
I have never seen this particular one- and it was by Lewis Carroll himself, wow.
Thank you so much for sharing xx

I refer of course to the positioning of the figures. Your caterpillar is more trendy and better drawn.
OMG You cant say that- this was by the man himself ! I will take that as one huge compliment my friend :))))))) x

I think it is accepted that he was a better author than an artist, but some of his drawings do have a sort of charm about them. I have a collection of them I scanned from Alice In Wonderland. I love studying artists and have 2gb of material on famous artists.
I like the loose quality to his lines :))
