Now this is the first time I’ve noticed you do a colour/b&w mix, Anita, and it’s very effective! Love the rotund shape of the ladies and the incredible trademark details (and hidden critters), as always! ;o)

As I may have said before: RED is the most noticeable colour by the human eye and can be identified if there is even the smallest amoutn in a picture. Therefore its a very eye catching colour especially in contrast to black or white.
Love the way ‘Mother Kokeshi’ has ‘caught’ the daydreamering duo.
Love the bird on one tree and butterfly in the other,
Love the sakura on the kimono. Sweet detail in your work as ever.

SO CUTE!!!!!!!! this is awesome Anita, but what astounds me, is that I have just started a series of drawings of both Kokeshi dolls and Babuska/Matryoshka dolls.
Do you think inspirations and ideas can float around the bubble and get inside our heads at the same time??? Spooky.
