An Autumn Poem by John Muir
In autumn when the trees are brown
The little leaves come tumbling down
They do not make the slightest sound
But lie so quietly on the ground
Until the wind comes puffing by
And blows them off towards the sky.

The winds will blow their own freshness into you,
and the storms their energy,
while cares will drop away from you
like the leaves of Autumn.
I did this doodling back in 2002 (just found it)
The idea was to put this on a Tee and the smaller emblem on the back (between the shoulders). This never happened, so I’m going to create a Tee now, on bubble and zazzle (to get a back print).

well youve been a busy girl love all the new work the lolitas really live up to there namesake and these autumn works are great this one in particular puts me in mind of the ornimental wood carvings you get on medievil doors it would be cool to see a really big panel with a theme running through it say the alice theme youv done or a nature theme or a woodland creature theme or even a series of panels that you could put out as a set or seperatly

Thats a lovely idea Don :)))) I used to do a lot of patterns and things like this, but this seemed to be the only one I kept (there is something very satisfying about it- I might well try to do some more- with the themes going on) xoxox
