    Aha- now can you tell it started with the intention of being a wedding scene- I couldn’t get the boy right so it just evolved into something else.

    Yes…I love the owl too. Poor wee rabbit doesn’t look so comfortable Anita…he will have one ear longer than the other being held like that. Beautiful pen and ink work as always :) ~ Anni xxxxx

    i love this your work always has such charm and wit with just a twist of iether nuaghtyness or for me in this case a slight hint of menace she looks so sweet yet the way she grips the rabbit well your guese is as good as mine do you remember an old beatles tune if looks could kill they probably will

    I recommend this because I find it a speaking work from Anita.
    It has all the element I love in her works, but always with something new.

    I love the expression of the girl and the innocence she have in her eyes holding the poor little rabbit…(my favoutire part of this image). I admire her way she always making them so magical.

    Thank you so much Laurie. You know Mntman suggested to me that I try a gothic wedding scene with 2 children in the snow and lotsa bats. He referred me to the wonderful pics you took of your children for inspiration. Although this ended up very very different, those were my initial plans, so you influenced this drawing in some way too.
    I might try the gothic wedding scene at some point- would you be OK with me using your pics as a very loose reference for the pose ?? No probs if not so, I’d totally understand.
