    Really love this one Anita…reminds me of a beautiful little Abyssiniann cat I had (who was sadly run over outside on the road at one year old :(...cried buckets). Brilliant detail in the background…yes Kaffe Fassett produces such appealing books. ~ Anni :D x

    Aw so sad to lose a beloved pet. My puss Suki disappeared and I never knew what happened to her.
    I love KF- I was always very hopeless at needlework etc at school so am fasinated by anyone working with fabrics and yarns etc xxxxxxxx

    Thanks Matt- these are older works when I used to do a lot of cats. My friends just asked me to do their cat, so I though I’d dig these out to try and get my head round that (and using colour again after to long):):):)

    Apart from the obvious fact that this is an amazingly beautiful work of art, you have also introduced me to the work of Kaffe Fassett and i am going to compile a folder of his work to study as I reckon it will help me to take my own art in a step further the direction I am aiming for.     Wow- thank you Dave and so nice to inspire someone else. Kaffe Fasett does the most extraordinary “paintings” in tapestry, but what intrigues me even more is what inspires him- I have a book he has put together with the most amazing photos of still lifes and interiors and fascinating objects- such a great eye for pattern and colour (I think he just sees inspirations everywhere). I’m sure you will enjoy very much xxx
