Tomorrow night, 22 October 2007, at precisely 8pm local time, all non-essential lights in San Francisco will be turned off for an hour. This is being done as a demonstration of energy conservation.

It sounds like a wonderful photo op. Have you ever seen a photograph of the Golden Gate Bridge, the Ferry Building, Alcatraz, the Bay Bridge or the Transamerica Pyramid at night with no lights?
I think there are at least a couple of Bubblers who are from the SF Bay Area, and I hope they are able to capture some compelling images.
