I have always loved weeping willows; they are my favourite trees. As a child I used to spend hours on an old wooden swing under a neighbours willow tree. There is something comforting about the way they bend over and around you when you are underneath.

This is lovely Anita – like you my favourite tree is the weeping willow – something very magical, almost spiritual about it – a great tree of contemplation. I love the purple and pinks in this and the dandilions add to the mystyical/fairytale feel to this image – beautiful work :)

Well I guess this must be the weeping willow club then…I love them too. They are so full emotive. They make me think of being everything from a stroppy teenager to a gilted lover! They are wonderful. This is a timeless image…in so much as time seems to be stood still or slowed down. I like the way the willow is draping itself over the dandelyons. The timelessness is brought out by the heavy vignette.

Romantic and beautiful image- I just love the way you’ve edged it too. Lovely. The weeping willow is a category of its own in terms of symbolic trees I think.
