Who are we? We find that we live on an insignificant planet of a humdrum star lost in a galaxy tucked away in some forgotten corner of a universe in which there are far more galaxies than people. Carl Sagan
Spectacular! Especially love the Earth-clock without hands. Is that by any chance a reference to the Lost Book of Nostradamus? They found it in the Vatican not that long ago… no one’s even sure who did the artwork, possibly his son: but on the last page the Wheel of Time is empty and so is the Book of Life. (Scary, yeah?) There is also a depiction of the Galaxy indicating “something” would occur when the center is aligned with the Earth and Sun ~ which ~ hmmm ~ is scheduled to occur Dec. 21st. Pretty interesting, especially since “they say” no one knew about the Galaxy back then, much less its spiral shape! I don’t know what Carl Sagan would have thought … he was a bit of a Nihilist although he did believe in extra-solar life. Anyway, a fave for me and very thought-provoking, Dawn! “Who Are We?” indeed! The $64-million dollar question!
Acually the clock refers to the doomsday clock now at one minute till midnight. Your idea is good also! :) Thanks!
