Abandoned Dreams

House is on top of a hill in Swan Valley Idaho…

Art is interpreted differently as everything is interpreted differently thru a persons eyes. Some might see this as a great house with alot af deapth an A+ picture taking location. Others might connect with it on a deeper more emotional level. They may view themselves as an empty house sitting alone on top of a hill in the middle of nowhere. This might be what some strive for…isolation and silence. Whatever stirs that spark of magic that is still deep down that hasent yet been combed out, spanked out or washed out as you grew to who you are today..Take that magic and run with it!!!!

Looks great. Love the tones and richness of the foreground. On occassion I will cough up a shot or two of old structures. If I knew more about software, I would place ghost images of people and kids in the photo. I often wonder of all the things good, bad, or indifferent that occured at such and old structure.

    Great job!

I love old places like this, not just because the texture of the weatherworn wood is SO photogenic, but the place has a story to tell – if it could part with its secrets ?!!
    Beautiful evocative image.

  • Anibal replied

I am sure it has some to tell… possibly if you sit long enough you might hear the echos of the children’s voices from the past… Oh what a story it can tell.. thanx for your lovely words..

  • Anibal replied

HA HA… Too Funny… Lucky thats all it was for me… we almost past it up this day… I did the sad puppy dog eyes to my husband as we passed ( we were heading to Jackson for a dinner thing) he said you want me to turn around huh? I said yes please…SOOO as the story goes i was lucky my charm still works on my husband and and Lucky to land both the shots due to the fact that the sky opened up and poured only seconds after returning to the car… Photo shoot… of course… sounds good to me.. :-)
