Hi :)

I live in the north of the North Island, New Zealand.

I had a wee Kodak camera as a kid, and as a family we always had cameras around. My mum was a great example taking many great shots with her Pentax. I used a Minolta film camera for a while and since 2009 I have had a DSLR – digital made opening up a whole new world so easy! I enjoy finding magical sights in nature to capture.

I use a Canon 450d with kit lens, a Canon 50mm 2.8, a Tokina 11-16mm, a Canon 100mm Macro IS lens. My postedit work is basic if any, as i prefer natural shots. I have two flickr accounts:
www.flickr.com/photos/angwickham – for my everyday shots,
www.flickr.com/photos/angsnznature – for my shots of NZ native flora & fauna.

I live with chronic fatigue so I don’t get out as much as I would like however the upside of this is the chance to reflect on ‘life’ and life experiences … some of this may come across in some of the descriptions I post. CFS is sometimes called the ‘off/on’ syndrome as some days are good, and others not so. If you meet someone with CFS, please be kind – ‘normal’ life can be very tiring!

I hope you enjoy my ‘bubble’.

Please note I express full copyright over these images.

Thanks for visiting, and have a great day!
