Whale Shark by Kimberly Kirk

Whale Shark by

This painting was commissioned by a professional surfer to capture an experience he had free diving with a Whale Shark surrounded by beautiful Mahi Mahi fish. Despite the name, a Whale Shark is a harmless gentle fish that grows on average 30ft long. This photograph of the painting is not the greatest, but I hope you will enjoy it anyway.

Of course I know what a whale shark is! They have the coolest looking patterns all over their skin. I’ve actually been meaning to draw one for a while now but something has always come up…… now ya beat me to it! lol

  • Your style of art would be absolutely perfect and complimentary to the whale sharks awesome spots. So I hope you still intend to draw one! I’d love to see a Shelley Shark
