Hi,
Yep it’s that time ...won’t be long…I’ve started putting up Christmas cards. I have a strange tradition I’m sure, where I send out cards early December, and seeing it usually can take a little while to deliver orders…up they go!
Oh, Sorry…Who am I?....
I am an Australian Artist, born in Brisbane. My work is mainly abstract realism to illustrative in style; and colourful and analytical in nature. Common influences through my work are from the environmental, water and beaches (as I often spend time there), literature, music, family, friends, and social comment. I have been creative since a child: have experience as a Potter for a number of years; obtained a degree in Fine Arts as a mature student; have had many exhibitions and also have worked in galleries; and arts retail. At the moment I work primarily as a artist/writer. Mediums = Watercolour, Pastel, Acrylic, Pencil, and have aspirations of getting published. (Sprouting poetry at the oddest of times).

Close your eyes, / And you are in the forest, / With the crisp, white pillows, / And fresh air, / To fill your lungs,
The squabbles, the presents, / Children invading our residence, / The jokes in the bon-bons, / Bing Crosby on the stereo too long,
Rain beats down, / Drumming on a tin roof, / It settles into a high volumed shhhhhh,
And in the morning light I drifted to some far away place, / That lulled me finally into sleep,
