A Greyhound and Jack Russell are discovered playing tug with a ladies hat by the huntsman, but they are not giving up on their game.

Most owners, if asked, would not give up their Jack Russells for anything in the world. However, if asked during the first six months of ownership, they would have given anything to get rid of it. ~ “Jack Russell Terriers.”

I am a photographer who loves to paint. Or, I am a painter who loves photography? No matter, they are very compatible! :) I really enjoy working in watercolor, and love the magical qualities that it can give to a work of art! You will see photography, watercolor and acrylic paintings on my bubble. Hope you enjoy! :)

  • Yes, I think the Jack Russell does win, even though the greyhound can lift him off his feet. Thanks for the great comment and fave! :)

How on earth did you ever think to paint this scene Angie?
I love it, and it’s become my new favourite of yours.
    So beautifully done.

  • These two dogs belong to a close friend of mine, and play tug like this frequently. At some point the greyhound lifts the Jack Russell into the air and shakes him, but he still does not let go. The huntsman came to mind due to the association of Jack Russells with foxhunting! So pleased that you enjoyed this compositon and thanks for the fave Maree! :)
