A photograph of my little muse as a kitten inspired this watercolor. Her eyes, so alert and enjoying everything in sight, always lift my spirits. She and her little companion are checking each other out, eye to eye!

I am a photographer who loves to paint. Or, I am a painter who loves photography? No matter, they are very compatible! :) I really enjoy working in watercolor, and love the magical qualities that it can give to a work of art! Oh, I really like this Angie. I am captivated by hummingbirds (I wish we had them in Oz) and I like cats too (as long as they’re not feral cats that feed on all our native Aussie wildlife).
So…. after all that, a lovely combination of subjects, lovely colours and, in fact, lovely all round.
