Creeping along the narrow, second story apartment ledge, Sabrina stopped for a moment, surmising what her next move would be; she focused on the large vine clinging to the wet bricks and knew it was her only way down. Hiding in the darkness below, she could disappear into the surroundings, scheming to make a new life on her own……

Many times cats disappear from home and then reappear several days later, apparently unharmed. Loving their independence so much; I sometimes wonder if they intend to return to the wild life permanently, and then something draws them back to us, perhaps love. I’d like to think so….

For the Rescue Challenge: This cat was rescued by me as a six week old kitten. She had been abandoned in a parking lot behind my home and was near starvation. She survived by catching insects falling from the florescent lights at night. I saw her doing this on one of the many occasions when I tried to catch her. Finally, with the help of some tuna, I was able to convince her I was friendly. She is now eight years old.

I am a photographer who loves to paint. Or, I am a painter who loves photography? No matter, they are very compatible! :) I really enjoy working in watercolor, and love the magical qualities that it can give to a work of art! You will see photography, watercolor and acrylic paintings on my bubble. Hope you enjoy! :)
