Only the grey old castle,
Of crumbling stone and lime,
Still stands to speak of the ages,
And their iron footsteps of time. ~ excerpt from A Castle Old and Gray by Alexander Anderson I captured Ross Castle at Kilarney Ireland eleven years ago while on vacation. It has always reminded me of a haunted castle, perhaps it is. According to Wikipedia, the Ross Castle was originally the ancestral home of the Donoghue clan. According to a legend, Donoghue was sucked out of the window of the grand chamber at the top of the castle and disappeared into the lake below, where he now resides, and keeps a close watch on all the affairs of the castle.

I am a photographer who loves to paint. Or, I am a painter who loves photography? No matter, they are very compatible! :) I really enjoy working in watercolor, and love the magical qualities that it can give to a work of art! You will see photography, watercolor and acrylic paintings on my bubble. Hope you enjoy! :)
