If there is a chance of flurries and you turn the horses out, there will certainly be snow. I find nothing prettier than Clydesdales in snow. This watercolor was done from a photo of my niece’s two Clydesdales. She breeds them and has several black ones. Tell her to keep her dreams! I wanted a horse since I could walk, and did not have the opportunity until in my mid thirties. I love them more than any kid ever could! :)
What a beautiful painting. I love the deep shadows & how the horses are turned to shield their faces from the snow. Clydesdales are indeed gorgeous….and HUGE!!!!
