I’m only a cat,
And I stay in my place……
Up there on your chair,
On your bed or your face!

My reference for this watercolor was a snapshot of my little muse as a kitten only a few weeks old hiding in a flower pot decorated with leaves and pumpkins for fall. Already showing a sense of independence and a predator’s instincts, she loved to hide and watch me from behind the ivy and the pumpkins.

What a great comment Ulla! I have to say this is the first thing I have been able to do in a while. It took several days to complete, a bit longer than usual for a watercolor. Lots of washes to get the deep colors. Now perhaps I can get back in the swing again. Thanks for the fave!!!!
