“There is no blue without yellow and without orange.” ~Vincent Van Gogh, Dutch Post-Impressionist painter 1853-1890

Beautiful grape hyacinths are a welcome sign of spring. I photographed these in 2010. No sign of them yet for this year. As a matter of fact, some fresh snow has just arrived. (3/07/11.) Oh well, it won’t last long.

I am a photographer who loves to paint. Or, I am a painter who loves photography? No matter, they are very compatible! :) I really enjoy working in watercolor, and love the magical qualities that it can give to a work of art! You will see photography, watercolor and acrylic paintings on my bubble. Hope you enjoy! :)

just love the smell of these, hoping and praying for them to be among all the flowers in the yard as this is my first spring in this home so I am not sure what we will have.
Spring will come and then summer and then fall and then winter again. and so life goes.

  • Yes, it all spins faster as we age, doesn’t it? It will be fun for you seeing what comes up in the yard of your new home this year. Thanks so much for stopping by to comment! Wishing you spring! :)
