I have always loved photography. The beauty of nature and architecture inspire my work. I also especially enjoy still life and floral photography and In 2010 exhibited some of my photography at the Waterford, Va. USA juried art and craft show. I discovered an interest in painting after writing a children’s book, and working on my skills to illustrate that project. I entered my first barn painting in The Historic Adams County BarnArt Show, Gettysburg, Pa. in 2008, and another barn painting in 2009, which won the People’s Choice Award. I love working with a variety of subjects in my painting, which includes both watercolor and acrylic. Animals and birds, children,still life, and flowers are favorite subjects.
