The last of my Passionflower series (for this Summer anyway!)…this one is my favourite. The amazing tri-coloured petals and intricate stamen captivate me.
Thanks to my gorgeous sister Kristyn who knew where to source one of these and gave it to me on Christmas Day. It was worth passing up the evening meal to shoot!
Deep purple ‘cross arms’ at top of flower: 1.5 cm
Green bulb-like formation: 1 cm high
Anthers (little yellow ‘feet’!): 1cm
Tri-coloured petals: 1.5 cm from deep purple end to light purple end
