I’ve been an avid photographer since the early 1970’s and graduated in 1995 from Langara College with a Diploma in Professional Photography. During my college education, photography was in the midst of the transition from traditional film-based techniques to new digital formats. As such, I am fortunate to have a solid base of expertise in both methods.
I practiced her skills working as a professional photographer for various cruise ships, and as Santa’s photographic elf every Christmas season.

I also have specialized experience in scanning aerial photography on high-resolution scanners used in the mapping industry.

I translated these scanning skills into a high degree of expertise in scanning photographs with desk-top scanners, and using image manipulation techniques to restore and improve old prints.

With the birth of my daughter in 2002, I sharpened my skills to a new level – because with babies you have to be quick to take advantage of opportunities that can happen any time, and having a new “model” opened the door to a whole new realm of ideas in portrait photography.

Then one day, I became inspired by Flower Fairies, and realized my little girl was a perfect candidate for becoming a Fairy. From that point onward, I have created many Fairy costumes, and they have had many hours of enjoyment creating fairy scenarios.

Bringing magic to my photographic art is always exciting, and transforming my little clients into magic fairies brings great pleasure to all.

I also have a vast portfolio of travel photos from Rarotonga, Mexico and Canada, not to mention many paintings and drawings from my visits to Zipolite, Oaxaca Mexico
