Profile
Desire to draw and paint for the last 10 years. Pottery was my first love which I took up at the age of 19, I became a successful hobbyist handbuilding houses, dragons, mythical beings, wishing wells, outhouses, pots and carving. I joined an Art Society in 1998 and progressed to drawing with charcoal, (attending life drawing classes), pastels, watercolours and oils. I also enjoy digital and mixed media. I am now concentrating on portraiture.
I sell my seascape art in several south coastal areas of Sydney.
Sometimes I have a picture or idea in mind that I want to draw, sometimes I paint with precision and sometimes I paint by feeling. There are times when I don’t know what to draw or paint.
Watercolour pencils are my favourite, along with pastels. Occasionally, I like to write and express my views.
