The montreal Olympic stadium was built for the 1976 summer Olympics. The stadium was a source of pride for Montrealers until they found out that the opening roof could not work properly ! After spending so much money and several attempts to change the roof, nothing worked ! So, the Montreal Expos, our baseball team had to play in the rain . Then, the Expos left Montreal to the dismay of many fans ! The structure, however, is a great landmark for Montreal being the tallest building in the city.
