so are you able to find all of patricks settings in the dark? Is it like the D300?
This looks fantastic!
Thanks Micki :) That is the only problem with shooting in the dark… lol… I can’t see the buttons… lol. Holy cow…. I was expecting this camera to be great… but… wow… I mean… WOW!!! I’ve used pro cameras before, and none compare (except of course the D3)

Oh yeah… sorry. It is slightly bigger than the D300 physically… but… it’s low light capabilities are incredible.
Trust me, the buttons will become automatic, just set up your own menu and then the settings area for special occasion shoots and you are off to the races
The toning and light is great. I’m really impressed. Of course, it is the person behind the camera that is really making all the difference here.
Lets see the high ISO settings there…
Now, do these shots with both cameras (5D and D700) and lets see em. Start with low ISOs and same f-stops, on tripod, etc.
Thanks John :) I did try this shot a little while ago with both the 5D, and the Mark II. Well, not the exact same shot, but, the exact same light. The 5D introduced enough noise that I could not edit. I was able to edit the noise out of the shot with the Mark II. The ISO for “Time Keeper” on the Mark II was 400, and I needed a tripod obviously. This current shot with the D700 was hand held, at ISO 5000… no noise to edit. I just adjusted the levels a little, that’s it.
Come on over, I’ll let you play with Patrick :) What’s really cool is I can now compare pro Nikon to pro Canon.. even though I only have one pro Nikon now… lol…. but… it’s a nice one … hehehe
