My inspiration for this image is little Ellie who was about 8 weeks old when the original photograph was taken. She is now about two years old. The original photograph of her was taken on a dull day in front of a lawned area, so to make it more interesting I have used 4 textured layers and photoshopped Ellie into the image using CS3.
Lighting has always been a huge fascination for me in my work and this has been one of my main focuses here.
I would like to dedicate this art to Julie who is Ellie’s person
Born in Cardiff, but now live in the West Midlands. Graduated from Birmingham City University with a BA (Hons) in Visual Arts.
Key styles: impressionism, abstracts and whimsical,which cover a wide range of subject matter from pure abstract, figurative, portrait, still life, nature and wildlife.
