My inspiration for this work came from my dog Sam, who is a smooth haired border collie cross. He is very unusual in his manner and always makes us laugh. He walked into the kitchen with a straw in his mouth and his expression was so funny. Although my dog doesn’t look like a giraffe, the expression on Gerald the giraffe’s face looks like Sam. Enjoy
