Angela Burman

Angela Burman

Sutton Coldfield, UNITED KINGDOM

I was born in Cardiff and raised in Pembrokeshire a beautiful part of South West Wales and now live in the West Midlands where I graduated from Birmingham City University after studying for my BA (Hons) in Visual Arts.

My work is highly eclectic, but is tied together by various themes and interests, including poetry, literature, pschycology and heavily influenced by vibrant colours.

My key styles are impressionism, abstracts, semi-abstracts and whimsical, which cover a wide range of subject matter from pure abstract, figurative, portrait, still life, nature and wildlife.

Media used for creating original art work are oils, acrylic, mixed media, collage, textiles and digital photography.

A quote by one of my favourite artists, Georgia O’Keeffe pretty well sums up my work:

“I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way – things I had no words for”.
