Ocean of Mists

A thick ocean of mist slowly receeds revealing the Herefordshire and Worcestershire countryside below. The top grey line at the top of the mist is actually the ridge of the Cotswalds just peeking out above the white fog…...then the pinky sky just as the sun is about to rise over the ridge.

Taken early October 2008 from the top of the Malvern Hills….often refered to as Tolkien’s Misty Mountains.
