Boy in a Rocker by Angel312

Currently unavailable for purchase

This is a copy of a sketch that kind of started me thinking about doing more than just “doodling.” It is a sketch of a dear friend’s grand son in a rocker that was her’s when she was a little girl. Unfortunately, I did not realize that I would do anything more than just sketch this for her and did not have the original, so I had a copy of a start of this and I had to sketch from memory, hmmm, not too reliable. It is a graphite drawing.

Gail I just have to say that considering you recreated this from memory only, this is excellent! I think there are a lot of talented artists that could not even do this from memory, so well done.

Thank you so much Carrie for your words of kindness. It’s kind of funny that I even kept it. It was the original that I started for her and it just wasn’t perfect so I tossed it aside. I don’t know why I did not throw it away, but I didn’t and all that was there was the shape of his head which was at an odd angle and I didn’t want it to look…well odd. Again, thank you for looking at it. I appreciate everyone’s kindness here!
