I am a 50 Y/O happily married woman from Indiana and I have 2 children, and 5 beautiful grand children that I adore. I have enjoyed “doodling” since I was a little girl, unfortunately, I guess that’s what I always considered it, doodling. I enjoyed drawing to release stress and “escape” from the reality of stressors around me. It wasn’t until about 3 yrs ago that I even considered doing anything other than share some of my work with family members. A very thoughtful woman that I worked with kept encouraging me to “set up shop” somewhere. Well, I didn’t do that but she called on me several times to do work for her and that was really the turning point for me to do anything other than “doodle.” I hope that by entering this journey I can meet others that share my passion for art, and maybe, just maybe I can brighten someones face with a portrait as well.
