The King of Hearts or is a very positive presence and favorable sign. When he appears in your life, his basic personality traits are that of a charismatic and calm man, a matured one – he’s no kid like pages and knights. One who is very receptive and open in his heart. He is often sophisticated and cultured, or at least dignified. He is a feeling, intuitive man who treats others with diplomacy, sensitivity and grace. However as a king, he is in a position of power, and this king is particularly pleasant when he pays us a visit, as he is perhaps the most willing to bless others with some of his powers.

The fact that he is the King of hearts, does not make him any more likely to be a lover than the rest of the court cards. The heart suit is a quality of his temperament as well as the dimension of life he will be involved with, in this case communications, feelings, happiness, spiritual and psychological work, relationships. He can just as easily take the form of your friend, business partner, family member, artistic colleague etc.

If he takes form in your life he likely is in a profession that emphasizes helping others, such as a doctor, a philanthropist, psychiatrist, diplomat etc. Or has some interest or hobby in a similar field.

Lastly, when you see a court card it heralds a human being specifically, which represents a more dramatic event, a psychological state combined with the physical happenigs.

However, just who the person is can be very ambiguous. Though the person represented by the card often is assumed to be the gender represented, the characteristics of lifestyle of the person is what is being illustrated overall, rather than their literal physical appearence.

He is a man of enlightenment, and favors the arts, science, religion etc. And he is a leader, and may indicate an incomming call to leadership and direction, or finding yourself in a new position of strength and authority.
