Excellent Image & words, just heard via my Mum that my sister in NY has no power at all, but thankfully no damage. Well thought of & well considered tribute you done. Liz will be without power heat & light for 7 Days…
as are many people on the East Coast of America and Canada…
I remember being without running water last winter due to frozen up pipes and it was not very pleasant, luckily I had some water in decanters to make tea but not having a working toilet and no water to wash yourself with felt a bit like being a survivalist…I drove to a shop in the next village to use their toilet until we thawed out the pipes from minus 25°C.
