Bridge of Allan is one of Stirling’s hidden gems. This historic Spa Town is highly recommended as a place to visit on any trip to this area.
It lies on the Allan Water, a northern tributary of the River Forth, built largely on the well-wooded slopes of Westerton and Airthrey Hill, sheltered by the Ochil Hills from the north and east winds. Bridge of Allan railway station is on the Edinburgh to Dunblane Line.
