Celtic Football Club was delighted to announce the Battle of the Legends match – Celtic Legends v. Manchester United Legends on Tuesday, 9 August 2011. This unique charity match saw a host of former players together with a number of celebrity fans including Gerard James Butler battle it out on the pitch at Celtic Park. In co-operation with Oxfam, the match raised funds for the victims of the ongoing food crisis in East Africa.

always believed in 4-leaf-clovers as a sign of luck after finding 33 in spring 2009 I was not surprised to find myself in Scotland early 2010 and haven’t looked back since…it was a grand atmosphere at the friendly game and the salmon sarnies and Bovril tasted even better when CELTIC scored 5 goals against ManU!!!
