St. Anthony has been known as the most celebrated of the followers of Saint Francis of Assisi. He is the patron saint of Padua, Italy and of many cities in Portugal and in the countries of the former Portuguese Empire.
He is especially invoked for the recovery of lost things and also known in Brazil and Portugal as a marriage saint.

nice piece handsome grandfather too,at the end of the great war, my uncle captured a Austrian solder ,they were together several days, and became friends, later,my uncles grand son, married the Austrian,s grand daughter, , how that for/ karma?
he was a good looking man and many girls fancied him, he died so very young in Rumania aged 31. nice story about your uncle…good karma :)
