Artist's Description

On Palm Sunday Christians celebrate the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem, the week before his death and resurrection. For many Christian churches, Palm Sunday, often referred to as “Passion Sunday,” marks the beginning of Holy Week, which concludes on Easter Sunday. In many Christian churches, Palm Sunday is marked by the distribution of palm leaves (often tied into crosses) to the assembled worshippers. This palmcross was made by Henriette Kruszewski in Epfach, Bavaria, Germany.
