Crowley, Khonsu, Thelema and the sting of the scorpion by andyzomorf

I’m pleased to announce that my next project has been completed and will be on Red bubble very soon.
It has been done with a feel of Art Noveau and being in sepia, almost is like something shot in Paris circa 1910.

It tells the tale of the priest of Khonsu and his mind battle with a sorceress, called Telia to coerce her into participation in the ceremony of resurrection and bringing on the Aeon of Horus.

Ankh-af-na-khonsu, was a priest of the Egyptian god Mentu who lived in Thebes during the 25th and 26th dynasty (c. 725 BCE). The dedicant of the Stela of Revealing, a wooden offering stela made, he devised a ritual to ensure his continued existence in the Netherworld.

This stela, is linked to the religion of Thelema and the priest is linked to Aleister Crowley, the celebrated magician, who likened himself to being a reincarnation of the said priest.

This was a great creative step and was a year in the making. It triumphs over some of the shoots I have done in that there is virtually a 100% inclusion onto Red bubble of the finished pieces, such is it’s quality.
There are twelve stanza but some of the shots were so good that there are about another three that will be produced.
Thanks to all well wishers, I’m truly on the road back.
