Landscape, macro, portrait and abstract photography.
I find golden hour photography can be an excellent way of clearing your head watching the sunrise at 5am, back in time for coffee and toast, or heading out on a warm summers evening to engross yourself in the landscape, forget the flotsam and jetsam of day to day things and breath again. It does, however have a tenancy to be a juggling act of dodging the rain and keeping the camera dry, such is the English weather! No pain, no gain…
I’d like to do more music photography because of it’s diversity and long exposure photography as the resulting image can give you a sense of a time and a moment which nearly always ends up with the viewer becoming part of the photograph.
Self taught, always learning….. you never know all there is to know, but that’s half the fun!
I’ve recently been getting more time to do landscapes and settle into a pattern of getting out into the countryside at least once a week to unwind and capture the beautiful (very) local scenery. I just hope I do it justice. My mind has leaned to the monochrome of late and I am really enjoying seeing light in a different way, another string to the old bow I guess.
I add images when I can and keep it up to date when possible, I hope you enjoy them.
Light changes, you change, a photograph never does.
Cheers.
